before you decide to choose it ~
you are chosen by it
the words, "I love you"
appear after the appearing of love loving,
the words, like mind, always trailing behind
all arising directly in-Spirit
is, see, spontaneous, immediate, timeless
even as you cannot decide
when the Sun 'rises' and 'sets'
strictly speaking, you cannot love anyone, anything
you are part of the context of love loving
even as you arise with the whole universe
love arises, and you with love

As a little boy, my family had an old, natural brick fireplace in our farmhouse. I enjoy the memory of the feel and look, sitting by the dancing flames on a cold night. We called this warming by the fire.
Feeling love for others arising spontaneously is like that warming by a fire. At times, I meet someone, for example, and a palpable sensation of love spontaneously arises. There is a sense of warmth, or calm and lovely sensation, lingering like a perfume, not strong, subtle. This may actually become more apparent after a brief sharing, than during it, like an afterglow.
This is different from the feeling one chooses from physical attraction, certainly unlike the attraction via hormones. Love can manifests all the way from "I want to have wild sex with you, sharing love body-with-body" to "I simply want to sit with you, basking in the Glow of a oneness that is heaven on earth." And, that one loves spirit-with-spirit, or even in-Spirit, as in the latter, does not mean the exclusion of other expressions of love. ~ One can look at these matters of the development of expressions of love, by returning to the writing yesterday.

Love is, so we never have a different kind of love present, only that love expresses differently. Certainly, for example, the love a parent enjoys for his or her child is different than that the person shares with his or her grandparent, a pet, or the flower garden outside.

The point, today, is love becomes more subtle as one moves from love expressed in-body to in-Spirit. Likewise, the quality of this love is different, and partly for the love is flowing less connected to localization in the body-mind, if not free altogether. Look at it this way, each aspect of creation, or nature, is like a veil. The more subtle the veil, the less coarse, or gross, the more subtle, the closer to pure Expression. Body, for example, is matter, and matter is the most coarse, thickest, so to speak, veil for Light to manifests through in this earth dimension. This does not mean love manifesting bodily is not-love, yet, to love someone spirit-with-spirit or in-Spirit is different.
